I hear ya loud and clear. I don't really care about the money or status but let me win one time. Let me beat t5he best.
1. find big pot tables and high percentage players on the flop
2. type every player into tableratings. If at least 2 suck then play and try to isolate the lone terrible player if there is only one when you have good holdings
its my belief that most of these winning players are using drugs to enhance their concentration. That's fine... I will level the playing field and join them.

Here is GENERAL advice I would give to tagfish
PREFLOP
Raise more cutoffs and buttons, isolate limpers with decent stacks liberally.
Threebet more hands, with things other than the nuts sometimes. Threebet in position with things like Axs or Kxs and small pairs and sometimes SC. If a regular raises and a regular flats, threebet liberally. When a fish limps and a reg raises to 9, threebet liberally
Flat call with big aces to keep smaller ones in including AK vs tight players. slowplay flatcall AA and KK sometimes with the intentions of playing it fast, you might even get squeezed.
Don't flat call regulars OOP to often, and don't 3bet trash oop too often. I garuntee you are a big loser out of the blinds when you call a raise, even multiway, because you lack postflop aggression.
POSTFLOP
As soon as a flop comes out evaluate your hand strength and how many streets of value it holds. Realize there are 4 "streets" before it gets in, meaning one raise postflop and the money gets in. Realize that raise can go in on any street.
examples
JJ on a J76= 4
A5 on a A72 = 1-2
KQ on a Q83 = 3
55 on a 339 = 0-1
AJ on a 977 = 0
Continuation bet most heads up pots, do so with middle pair, don't check behind and play guess and check like you're used to.
Don't be afraid to check fold terrible boards
When you call OOP and miss completely give up 33%, check-raise 33%, and fold 33%.
Checkraise flops more damnit, continuaton bets are normally false. Including gutsots bottom pairs over cards etc
Float in position
Turn continuation with changing boards like 5s 8s 9 turn Ks
Give up turn on dry board continuations with no improvements
Im getting tired of writing and playing so ill add only a couple more things
realize nits will be nits and fold to them, ISOLATE FISH thats where the money comes from, not the regs
Once you develop stronger hand reading skills, bluff raise rivers when you think people are valueing thin.
The object is to decieve in poker, betting top pair everytime you flop it isnt decieving

You really just need to transform yourself into a fearless aggressive player. Passive players are easy to play. I don't mean firing three barrels at every pot. I mean learning to read hand strength based on observasions you make off of player tendencies, and then using that information to steal pots and get value out of your better hands. Be aware of what you are showing down. Use propper bet sizing, execute cheap bluffs in cheap pots. If he checks to you when the fourth card of the same suit comes on the river, stab 2/5 pot after, as that's more often than not a sufficient amount, etc.
Coaches run from 200hr to 800hr and would help your game more than you could ever pay them. Say they find one leak where you bet 1bb more than you have to and you make that bet 30 times a session. That is 60 dollars a session, and that is with only a minor minor leak. You prob have more than a few minor leaks. If you can afford, the right coach can take your game from a breakeven 200nl player to a winning 400nl player in one session.
A much cheaper (and watered down) version of coaches is training sites, DeucesCracked.com is the best out there, ESPECIALLY for hu nl players and shorthanded. You can even get a CardRunners membership with FTP points these days. That is by far the most valuable item in the FTP store.

I would say intelligent aggression is a more apt term. As a LHE player primarily on Stars I see players who have absolutley no intuition as when to take the initiative in a hand. The ability to induce these players is a huge source of profit in LHE games up through 10/20.
To the OP I thought your thread started out strongly. The "Meta" trends that flow through a game are a delicate dance. Its a dance with each player at the table and is the heart and sole of poker. Its what makes poker so much fun. Your comments jumped off the rails a bit (IMO) when you started in with your list, (ex-the jibber about using the auto raise buttons)

Hmm doess this work? Never been a huge pot smoker because too much of any type of smoke fucks up my teeth, but if pot will stop me from tilting I may have to start smoking.
the best way not to tilt is to only play when you actually feel like playing. when you feel like playing, you are concentrated and motivated to play and your play will be far superior to just "playing to play" and you won't tilt. whenever i tilt, it's because i'm playing just to play for the sake of putting in hands and it's not good. this is obviously easier said than done. gl chimp.
