Not even sure where to start. I guess from the start. Gamble grabbed me about 30 minutes after I arrived and we hopped right on the freeway towards Dirt Burglar state. Gamble is such a cool ass dude and never stops talking. He made me feel at ease immediately and we just talked away liked we had known each other forever. Only memorable part of the ride is when he was talking to his wife and said "me and Othello are heading up to Oklahoma right now". When he got off I asked him if he knew that Othello wasnt actually my name. He was completely shocked to this news and asked what my name was. Fuck you Jim.

We get to the Casino and head to meet Steerpike and Jive. Jive is as glorious as he was on TV, and Pike is actually a giant brute of a man. As is customary in my ways I hug everyone instantly. We throw down a couple beers make small talk and skidaddle of for poker.

We get sent to 3 different tables and all make table changes to one. The poker was pure baffonery at its finest. Gamble raising anything, me or Jive calling or 3 betting anything, Pike playing tighter then all hell. Half the table hates us, the other half are laughing at our antics.

So after a night of drinking and southern food eating we finally get to bed around 3am. Gotta get up early to drive 3 hours on southbound 35. Gamble who has no off switch, gets up at 930 comes downstairs singing the magnets song to get everyone up. Drk whips everyone up some coffee and egg brekkie like the champ that he is, and we hit the road behind schedule (obvi).

The only highlights of the trip was the insanely racist graffiti on the bathroom walls in a truckstop, and watching Amber-bot and Drk argue over directions. Other then that very business as usual long trip.

We arrive at our destination only to quickly drop our bags and rush to the river to hopefully get on before all the tube places close. A very quick introduction with the first lady happens. Amber-bot ran into the room calling her name and they came fluttering out of said room like two adorable little texan tinkerbells.

Off to Texas Tubes we go. We get our supplies and head down to the river. This is about the point when Steerpike realizes what exact kind of endeavour we were getting into. To say he was unsure about this intertube thing was an understatement. He was overdressed and not exactly enthralled with the whole idea. but being a soldier he jumped in with 2 feet and off we went.
