In fairness, having a part black wife has only made me more racist. Sometimes, we'll be watching the news, and the second Obama comes on, my wife starts yelling "Obama good, he good!" It's really fucking annoying.
Anyway, this whole racism stuff is overblown. The people here are no more or less racist than anywhere else. I have not for one second taken anything seriously here. Everyone is pretty much just trying to be funny. I'm sure I've said my share of racist stuff here too, but it's nothing less than I've said to my wife. It's really not serious. (And by not serious, I mean completely serious.)
I think that part of vwls' issue is that she tried to have real discussions on issues like racism when 99% of everyone else was just trying to have fun and make jokes. It's not that the entire board is racist, it's just that it's a lot more fun to make jokes than be serious, especially when we see vwls getting upset. Now that I think about it though, how many racist threads have there actually been in the past year? One percent at best, and most of those end up being one page threads, not at all popular.
The truth is vwls was worshipped at NWP, but that didn't happen here and she couldn't handle it. I don't blame her for not wanting to post where she was getting abused, but to say that racism was a major part in her decisions is a joke. This is the same woman that embedded the niggeralarm at NWP.
And 99% that if neverstop changed her title to legend, she'd still be here. fuck, he is one mean sharp-kneed canadian.
Lastly, I was voted into the NAWC with a part-black wife. Honestly, how racist could this place be?
Listen, racism has gotten out of hand on Boris. I think we're all grown up enough to leave our prejudices at the door. Within our 3 board circle jerk of 100 posters, we are the papa bear of racism. As one of the proud non racists on the site, I feel I'm uniquely qualified to spread the word. We can make this site more accessible to the ladies, which based on our content, has always been the hidden goal of Boris. No longer should we force talented photoshop artists into making racist imagery. How dare we assume that when someone makes a photoshop that they themselves won't be offended by it? Hey, let's just not put someone in the awkward position of having to say "No" to something they are under no obligation to say "Yes" to.

I always just take the racism here as ironic, unless it comes from Hello There, Splitthis, Toots or Gambowl (and he gets a pass for making us all feel better about ourselves).
