Thanks to campaigning (we assume), which apparently is the key to winning the micro stakes awards, our winner is MRobot who failed to show a profit at any PLO SH table we found. He did play 164 hands for $0.25-$0.50 PLO HU for an $86 score which is the only evidence he knows how to win at Omaha. He won by more than five times the amount of votes received for second place finisher “shamerson” who showed a profit just under $3,000 playing the micro stakes games.

Former wrestling star “Dr. Death” Steve Williams has passed away at the age of 49 after a long battle against throat cancer. Steve Williams known by his ring name “Dr. Death”, died at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver on December 29, 2009. He was a football player and wrestler at the University of Oklahoma. He started his wrestling career in 1982, he was trained by Bill Watts.
His close friend and WWE announcer Jim Ross said last week that Steve’s health was not well. He said,
“Please keep Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams in your prayers as his latest battle with cancer is proving to be a tough one…again.”
Sadly he didn’t survive but he became an inspiration to many by battling the disease for a number of years. Steve won many titles in Japan and he also competed for Mid-South Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling.
Steve had brief runs for the World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling. Steve Williams, 6 ft 2 in, 280 lb, was among one of the most physically fit wrestlers. Top wrestling professionals like Chris Jericho, Taz and Jeremy Borash have taken to ‘Twitter’ to express their condolences. Jeremy Borash wrote,
“RIP Steve Williams. A man who fought cancer as tough as anyone and a real inspiration. Gonna be an Oklahoma Stampede in heaven.”
Taz wrote,
“We lost a GREAT man. Steve “Dr. Death” Williams…RIP.”
