BORIS POKER LEAGUE TRIPLE THREAT- WEDNESDAY & SUNDAY NIGHTS!
WHEN?
The league will take place every Wednesday and Sunday nights for 18 straight weeks. The start time will be 22:45est pokerstars time on Wednesdays and 23:00est on Sundays.
HOW MUCH?
They're 5.50 on Wednesdays and 3.30 on Sundays.
WAT?
This league runs on a revised point system.I 'll be using the standard pokerstars TLB point calculator, except I'll be multiplying our number of entries by 10. So if our tourney has 18 players, I'll be calculating it as if it had 180 players. What this will do is give everyone who participates some points but gives those at the final table proportionately more. However, while you'll be getting points for every tournament you play, you may only use your top 6 results towards your overall total points. This will both award those who participate regularly and not penalize those who can't make it every week.
SUNDAY POINTS
Our Sunday tourneys are bounty tournaments. The only way you'll receive points in those tournaments is to knock someone out. You will be rewarded by bounties using the same point structure regardless of how the tournament played out. If someone finishes 2nd or 3rd but knocked out the most players, they'll get 1st place points based on the number of entries. Tiebreaks will be determined by finish positions. Since only those who collect bounties will be rewarded points, not everyone who plays in a Sunday tournament will get points (unlike wednesdays).

DIVIDED BY 3
This season, the league will be divided into 3 smaller 6-week leagues. Using only your top 3 scores for every 3 week period, the top 3 in points will proceed to the playoffs. At the end of the 18 weeks, the top 3 in overall points (your best 6 results) who didn't already qualify for the playoffs will qualify bringing the total to 12.
PLAYOFFS
The playoffs will be different this season as they will every league. The 12 who made the playoffs get their point totals erased and prepare to play 2 tourneys (1 per week). Based on their overall (best 6) points, they will be assigned a starting point total as if they just played a 12-man tourney. Using those points, and the points they earn in the following 2 weeks, the top 9 in points will advance. Then we start all over using the same method. 2 weeks later we'll break down to 6 where those players will play 2 more tourneys. The finals will take place after that with the 3 remaining players playing 3 3-handed sngs. After every round that starting point total will be added as an incentive. I'll go more into detail when we get to that point or if anyone has specific questions.
SO WHAT'S DIFFERENT/RECAP
- League has been cut down from 24 weeks to 18 weeks.
- League is split into 3 smaller 6-week leagues.
- Top 3 in each 6-week mini league advance to playoffs.
- Each 6-week mini league counts only your top 3 results.
- Overall 18-week score counts only your top 6 results.
- Top 3 overall who aren't already in playoffs make playoffs (12 total).
- Playoffs are 9 weeks long with additional point totals being handed out based on performance.
- Sundays have been added to the schedule with points only being handed out for collecting knockouts.
Question about the bounty tournies. So lets say there are 9 entrants and 2 players get all the bounties. Does that mean the one with the most bounties gets 1st place points based on a 90 man tourney, the one with the other bounties gets 2nd place points based on a 90 man tourney and everyone else gets nothing? No participation points?

NO.
I had problems with e-checks about a year ago due to my bank being faggot, so i went with this option. The prepaid visa cards at wal mart were not accepted by stars. Cost me the 4$(or whatever fee) + took like 2 weeks for them to MAIL me my money from the card. I couldn't even go to walmart and get it off.

the reasoning for this is that sunday is meant to be a supplement day for the league and not an official tourney like wednesdays. think of it as doing extra credit homework. but since you can only keep your top 6 results, it's possible for those who can only play sundays to make the playoffs.
