As many of you already know, I am currently in a decent downswing. I've made a few runs at some MTT's lately, but haven't been able to hold, suckout, or win the races in key pots. I know it will come around again someday.

To help myself get back on track I am going to write up a few blogs about some MTT moves and strategies. Hopefully, with me trying to put my crazy thoughts into words about some aspects I feel I am good at, I'll be able to make some improvements.

I had been thinking about writing a article type blog about this for awhile for a few friends who are way too nitty. The other day I was bored yesterday during lab so i decided to write this. I apologize if it is a little choppy as I was interupted numerous times.


Everyone knows in poker that it is more fun to play more hands. Sitting around orbit after orbit waiting for QQ or better just is boring as fuck. Lately I have been getting more aggressive in my MTT's. I think ...

Well I get to play live poker at the Horseshoe in Council bluffs, Iowa maybe once or twice a month. This weekend I decided to go down May 30th to play in their "fat stack" tourney for 230$.

After class Friday I got bored and decided to head down(about an hour drive) I met my buddy there and we played 1-3 NL and drank. I was up 400$ pretty quick. We meet up with another friend and go to hooters to eat. I hadn't been there for a few years at least and was pretty surprised ...

Holy shit. Ok after class a few friends and I hit the bar because our teacher is seemingly trying to fail us(story for another time) I successfully get pretty trashed. I come back to my dorm room at 10 or whatever to pass out. Of course I play poker instead.

The main problem with this is that I actually had a bunch of money. I had deposited 20$ on friday and ran it up to 1200 - a small cashout. I start by playing some 5-10 FL 6 max. I lose a couple hundred so move up to 10-20. ...

Yesterday was pretty gay. I cashed in one 22$ MTT and went deepish in a 2$ turbo. My connection started to fuck up so i made some moves in the 2$ turbo that were probably pretty dumb. I ended up losing connection for about 30 mins and instabusted the few tourneys i was still in. Oh well

Today i'm playing all the tourneys again, but with a more reliable connection at school. Biggest tourneys i'm playing are 22$ ones again. gl me
